Quick summary

NoTaxThanks does not store your data in a database. No user accounts, no newsletter, no cross-site tracking.

What data we collect and why

Wizard inputs (origin, situation, income, selected countries):

  • Live only in your browser state while you use the calculator.
  • If you decide to buy the report, they travel to Stripe as metadata of your checkout session to reconstruct the PDF at /success.
  • Once the tab is closed without payment, data is lost. Nothing is stored.

Email (only if you buy):

  • Stripe collects it directly to issue the payment receipt.
  • We see it in the Stripe dashboard for support if you contact us.
  • Not added to any marketing list.
  • Not sold or shared with third parties.

Payment:

  • Fully processed by Stripe.
  • Card data never touches our servers; goes directly to Stripe PCI environment.

Language:

  • A tx_lang cookie with 1-year duration stores your ES/EN preference.
  • Not used for tracking; only to serve the UI in your language.

Analytics:

  • If configured, we use Plausible Analytics: anonymous, no cookies, no fingerprinting, GDPR compliant. Measures aggregate page views, not individuals.

What we do NOT do

  • No user accounts.
  • No newsletter.
  • No Facebook/Google/X tracking pixels.
  • No advertising cookies.
  • We do not sell data to anyone.
  • We do not share with third parties except Stripe (payment processor) and, when applicable, OpenAI to generate the personalized guide block in the PDF (content sent to OpenAI are wizard parameters, not personally identifiable data).

Your rights (GDPR)

Even though we keep a minimal data profile, you have GDPR rights: access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and restriction. To exercise them write to [email protected].
